gmmtv 2026 reactions (several weeks late)
or christmas for delusional gay people
i woke up at 3:30 in the morning, saw that the live still wasn't up, and then proceeded to sleep on and off until it was time to actually get up for work at 7 so i didn't actually process a lot as it was happening but now it's time to rewatch everything and decide how i feel.
ditto: milklove's previous shows have not really done it for me and this doesn't necessarily feel up my alley either but i do love the idea of evil piploy.
bake love feeling: i think view is the prettiest girl in the world but it's a no from me.
wish upon a star: as a bnk48 fan, i'm stoked to already see fond getting a main role and i think fond/pahn have great visual chemistry. i'm cautiously excited for this one!!
moonshadow: it took ten seconds for me to declare that this show is going to be GOOD like bonnie is soooo hot and i'm thrilled the maturity level and the potential for mess ("you're just a kept girl").
enemies with benefits: i'm here for jan in any capacity and this one was one of the most stylistically pleasing trailers of the whole night for me, i am seated.
love's echoes: i did not realize how much of a sucker i am for retro-looking footage until i watched this trailer because i was initially watching halfheartedly (not a huge fan of june's acting, tbh) and then the flashbacks started and i perked right up. idk i've always been very interested in Deaf culture (and disability justice in general) so i guess i'm cautiously excited for this one too?
oxytoxin: i don't really know what this is about but i don't need to know. the production team, the beautiful girls, the immaculate vibes...who cares just give it to me now.
her: well...i don't even want to touch on the (potential?? actual??) transphobia of it all, i'm just not that into lakorns.

surf n' love: i will not be watching but 1. i am amused that they cast surf in the surf show and 2. est was born to play a beach hunk.
mr. kill: DEWTEEEEEEE. i became very fond of dew through home school and by virtue of becoming a fan of nani, and then tee has an interesting nose so you know i had to stan. my thing is (as we'll get to next with arrest and action) i have nothing against bromance. maybe it's the part of me that grew up on Strong Male Friendship like merlin/arthur but sometimes a little queerbaiting is actually hotter than romance. you can revoke my queer card if you must.
arrest and action: i will reiterate: i do not care that it's bromance. i do not care that it's making fun of bl culture or whatever other complaints i heard and i especially do not care if you thought peaceful property was queerbaiting and therefore you're suspicious of p'dome because i, an enlightened person, would rather my faves be in a better show where they don't kiss than a worse show where they do!!!!!!!!!! that being said i know sky is going to excel at comedy and i hope they kiss for stupid plot reasons regardless of the implications.
scarlet heart: i am not going to watch this but tay tawan sexy congratulations.
i will always save you: even if the vibes didn't give it away immediately, you could've pegged this as a p'jojo show just from sea's novelty t-shirts. this is jimmysea reparations for last twilight if it's good.
the invisible dragon: sorry that i'm only here for visuals but first is sooo handsome. anyway i don't think this trailer benefited much from me watching it in a complete daze because the first time around i was kind of underwhelmed, but upon rewatch (and a comparison to in family we trust, another thai-chinese family drama) i see the vision.
unlucky bae, cupid's ghost: no.
how to survive my CEO: looking hard into the mirror trying to decide how much i am willing to sacrifice for a couple i like...
17th spring: this looks so good and i am so obsessed with aston's toothy face (and i think from a media training perspective, he is mature and well-spoken enough to handle leading a show with such a heavy topic) but if p'new messes it up i think i will actually k*ll myself.

roommate chaos: i think at this point i can firmly say there's nothing immediately appeals to me about these gmmtv college ensembles and i don't think putting markohm in this setting after how terrible the dentist show was is doing them any favors. maybe i'll be able to just watch the surfjava parts?
when oranges fall: a visually pleasing trailer with nice nostalgic vibes but i am very wary of rookie actors in the hands of such a weak director.
gunshot: as a trailer, kind of underwhelming but as a concept? gun seeking revenge? ohm villain? spectacular.
good boy: probably no?
lovers & gangsters: gmmtv gets the last laugh for making me sit through forcebook to get to brightgreat.
twenty one: it's so rewarding when a ship you're rooting for gets a show that looks Good. let's go juniormark dazzle these bitches.
my professional boyfriend: i had to immediately pause because satang is so s*xy. be MY professional boyfriend... winny is still Whatever to me but this is such a fun role reversal for satang.
kiss me, remember?: i was pretty skeptical while watching this trailer but if i had to predict the future, i'm guessing it'll be one i say i'm not going to watch only to end up watching after 3-4 episodes of everyone hyping it up.
billionaire biker: i need aouboom to be successful but i also don't want to watch this...

the spooky love tale: this was a first watch for me because at this point in the livestream i had to start getting ready for work and perthsanta seemed like a good time to walk away from my computer. it's fine, i guess?
high & low born to be high: i have no familiarity with this franchise but i had to laugh when gmmtv dude after dude showed up like who is NOT in this cast.
and rip to the taynew/ppw/jossgawin ensemble but it didn't even look good 2 me anyway.
